How is the job of County Attorney for Ramsey County determined?

1. She doesn't have the endorsement.

When she ran for governor she did not bother going for party endorsement for county attorney so she is probably going to be out of a job come this fall. Though she might try to run without endorsement which would be incredibly annoying.

2. She said months ago that she is not running.

And since the filing deadline in Tuesday I doubt she'll change her mind.
