Edited on Thu Feb-17-05 11:16 AM by enufalready
Please join union members and social justice activists
in a forum with Liza Featherstone, author of the
critically acclaimed book "Selling Women Short: The
Landmark Battle for Workers' Rights at Wal-Mart."

Featherstone will be speaking at the St. Paul Labor
Center, 411 Main St., in St. Paul

Saturday, Feb. 19 at 6:00 pm

Selling Women Short can be purchased locally at the
Bookstore of the Americas (3019 Minnehaha Ave S in
Minneapolis), or online at
http://www.unionvoice.org/ct/7p15-241jqrL/. The
Bookstore of the Americas is an independent,
progressive, union bookstore and is part of the
Resource Center of the Americas.

Review:
"Selling Women Short is a bargain even Wal-Mart can't
match...It offers an unprecedented glimpse into
Wal-Mart's pseudo-Christian, ultra-macho, corporate
culture." Barbara Ehrenreich, author of "Nickel &
Dimed."

More reviews and copies of the book (including used
copies) can be found online at Powells.com (a union,
independent bookstore).
