any more victims out there?
Let's see. I wonder if there are any weak and vulnerable Missourians remaining to take a hit from the Missouri legislature. We clobbered the physically impaired, the mentally challenged, gays and lesbians, children needing protection under Family Services. We attacked poor people needing medical attention, glasses, hearing aids or wheelchairs. Soon to take their lumps are wage earners being discriminated against or harassed (4/24, Metro, “More limits on lawsuits sought”). Have I missed anything?

No matter. If I have, the legislature and our governor will surely search them out for similar treatment. Kind of makes us proud to see how thorough our representatives can be when they get serious about something.

1. You forgot the people who are injured on the job
or develop work related injuries. The legislature, aided and abetted by Blunt, gave them the old heave ho too.

And oh yeah, better hope the medical establishment doesn't make a mistake. I believe they've made sure you don't have any redress there either.

2. Blunt's approval rating is 33%.
Muah ha.

My mom and grandmother (both liberal Democratic Catholics) refer to Bush, Blunt, and Burke (St. Louis archbishop) as the "killer Bs." :)

California here we come

SS/SCS/SB 179 - This act pertains to cost recovery for utility companies.

The act provides the opportunity for any electrical corporation to make application to the Public Service Commission in order to utilize interim energy charges or periodic rate adjustments to recover costs of fuel and purchased power. The act allows the commission to include in such rate schedules features intended to provide incentives to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness for the utility's fuel and purchased power procurement.
