What to do
Daughter attends college in MO and can vote in MO (she did in 2004). Should she vote in MO for McCaskill or vote in IL for Aumen against our incumbent puke manzullo (and the gov etc.)? I'm in a quandry as to this and as with last time, she'll be asking me for my opinion.

2. Well since you are posting on the Missouri board,
I take it you figure we are all going to tell her to vote for McCaskill and Nixon.

3. I don't know much about IL politics
I don't know how tight the Illinois races will be, but Claire McCaskill is going to need every vote she can get for the Senate. So I would suggest that your daughter vote in Missouri. Of course, there's some bias here.

4. How are Dems polling in IL? I would think MO would need it more

5. Herein lies the dilemna
In 2004, Obama had the lock on the senatorial race and manzullo had no viable opposition. 2006, however, brings a viable opponent to our congressional house race (I am not in the Chicago area). She's seen first hand baby blunt's incompetence and how the pukes are really messing up the state, especially education. Short of having her vote in both states (which would not be hard IMHO), I can't determine if ousting no-talent and beefing up our party in the Senate is more of a "win" than ousting manzullo (haven't seen recent poll numbers but he's not done much for the area, we only see him around around election time) and picking up a house seat. I will tell you this - she's seen the dying parts of MO (she's in k-ville) and is reasonably informed as to local happenings. There are a buttload of votes for McCaskill IF you can make sure the college kids get to the polls. I expressed my displeasure to one of her buddies when he registered, intended to vote but neglected to know the poll hours!! I suspect he is not alone in this thinking, these kids pretty have lived in a 24 X 7 society. There are a lot of students from IL who tend to not goosestep to the rightwing cadence. We have a little more time to do the pros and cons and ultimately it is up to my daughter. And contrary to the puke propoganda, talks to her parents.
