Jackson County Dems GET IT!!

I just went to a unity breakfast for Jackson County Democrats. Claire was there, and Rev. Cleaver and all the county big dogs. Claire was fabulous and Cleaver was inspirational - as usual. He talked about the national debt and kept saying the republicans are on a train going nowhere and we need to remind the voters of that as we campaign.

But my favorite part was at the beginning when the first speaker, Katherine Shields (Jackson Co executive) talked about the war and actually READ the names of the local soldiers who have died!!

They get it, finally, Thank God. They get it.

I wore my IMPEACH BUSH socks and got lots of comments :)
