In the past months, we have surpassed all fundraising expectations, but George Bush had an $85 million head start. Now, with only nine days left before the Democratic National Convention, we need your support more than ever. Together, we can make John Kerry and John Edwards the next president and vice president of the United States.

1. Pretty nice, but I wish she'd get to Republican country (flippable)
like Great Falls, Kalispell, Havre.

But thanks for going to Montana period!

4. Sorry, of course you are right
As a former middle-stater, I have my own image of Billings as somehow more advanced. But what do I know?

8. It was excellent.
She is extremely well-spoken (she's a teacher) and there was a lot of enthusiasm.

One thing I was surprised at, it was a fund-raising event, but there was no obvious way to donate, lol. I brought my checkbook but I guess I'll just donate online instead.

9. Tell me more!
Anybody get pics? How did people take to her? I saw her in Iowa and she seemed a little "proper".

10. Sorry, no pics
I'm not really a camera person... 'proper'? perhaps... I'm not really sure what you mean by that... she's a teacher, and that's how she came across to me -- she's no rabble rouser. The crowd had a lot of established pols and Dem party figures....but there were people from all over western Montana.
