I'm thinking of adding Missoula to my potential 'retirement areas'.
What can you tell me about the place?
Thanks in advance.

2. Well -
I'd like to live in a 'homey' quiet atmosphere. I've looked at Bend, Oregon and liked that area. I'm tired of living in a metropolis and would like to find something where I could enjoy the sunrises and sunsets at a more leisurely pace. I would like to find plenty to do for 'young' Seniors. Love bookstores, music, theater, etc.
Would Missoula suit my needs?
Thanks

3. You might like Missoula. It's a college town with a cafe culture. The
are long but the Spring, Summer and Fall are awesome, if somewhat compressed.

You might like to visit and have a look.

5. If you have time, check out Helena also
Smaller than Missoula, not as much gray in the winter. Nice town. I used to live there. It will probably always be what I think of as home.
