Eatontown?
I need help. I have an elderly relative in Eatontown who I've been trying to reach for awhile with no success. I've concluded she has either passed away or gone into a nursing home.

I'm thinking maybe the local city clerk (death certificate) or a list of RC Churches near Elizabeth Parkway might be able to help me. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Please PM me for more explicit info or any suggestions you have. Thanks.

2. Thank you!
I did try the SS Death Index. And the Asbury Press obits. She could be in a nursing home for all I know - but I thought I'd call some of the churches to see what they can tell me. She was a churchgoer - and also attended many "Irish Studies" classes at some local CC.

Thanks so much for your reply. (I was born and raised up in Bergen County). Except for this cousin, we're all long gone though.

3. Do you have a last known address?
If you do..you could maybe find a next door neighbor and mail them a letter. If you know any police/law enforcement folks they maybe able to track her down. How about medicade/medicare? maybe they can tell you if she is on thier rolls.

4. Yes, I do.
She lived at 16 Elizabeth Parkway. The first church on that list is very close by. Thought I'd give them a call for starters.

Again, thank you so much. If you ever need some help from California, just whistle!

6. Update on Cousin Marion...
Talked to a lovely woman at St. Dorothea's who put me on to a nursing home in Neptune. Tried calling. It's closed - no other info avl. Seems they transferred their patients out w/o any notice last April. According to bits I saw in the Asbury Press, it wasn't exactly legal but the State hasn't done much to the owner. I may have a hint of where she is but I'm going to call the lady at the church back in the morning to see what she's uncovered - and to see if I can get the priest to go check on her before I decide the next step. meanwhile, I'm trying not to have nightmares about possible neglect - or worse.
