President Obama will be in NM on Sept. 28
President Barack Obama will visit Albuquerque later this month as he continues to meet with families about rebuilding the economy.

The White House announced Friday that Obama will be in New Mexico on Sept. 28 although no details of the event were released.

The president will visit Iowa and Virginia on Sept. 29.

The White House issued a statement saying that Obama "will continue his conversations with middle-class Americans" on the economy during stops in three states.

High school reunion. In Tucson, which elected Stewart and then Morris Udall to Congress for a number of years.

I remember one of my teachers in about 1963 commenting bitterly that the only reason we had Barry Goldwater as a Senator was because those idiots in Phoenix voted for him.
