here in Eddy County we haven't had measurable rain since last September

3. In Grant County we've had 1.06 of moisture since November
I knew La Nina was going to be dry for us, but this seems more than La Nina. Global warming anyone?? I lived through the Dust Bowl - actually can rmember storms where they dust was so think you couldn't see your hand in front of your face. Also lived through the drouth of the 1950s, and this seems as bad as either.

we will have a very wet monsoon season. In fact it's being reported locally that we are going to have an especially rainy season.

I hope they're right!

At least it did not here in Raton. I know for a fact Trinidad, CO is still there. Was at Walmart there.

7. It's the Track fire
That's north of Raton. 25% contained and they just reopened I-25 although 2 exits remain closed and vehicles are not allowed to stop.
