Between 4 & 7 pm come and Stand Up for the Poor and the Middle class. The rich do not need to be coddled! They are strong in raising money just as the rest of us are strong in working hard and making it possible for the rich to make money. We need jobs, not cuts.

Message from host: Come any time between 4 and 7 pm Thursday Oct 13. Bring a picture of an infrastructure that needs work.

The American Dream movement continues to gain momentum. After a summer dominated by talk of cuts and possibly ending Medicare as we know it, we organized at every town hall and fundraiser we could find to tell members of Congress that we need jobs—not cuts—to help millions of unemployed Americans get back to work, and we need the super-rich to pay their fair share of taxes. Now the president has two strong proposals to create jobs and make millionaires pay their fair share—both in the spirit of the Contract for the American Dream.

ETA: I forgot to mention that I'll be attending. Rain is predicted but hopefully it won't be too bad. Hope to see others!!

WHAT: THE "BANK ROBBERY" TOUR OF FAYETTEVILLE
WHEN: Saturday, October 29, 2011
TIME: 11 am - 12:30 (about)
WHERE: Starts at the Market House
BRING: Posters & implements of cleaning (brooms, dusters, spray bottles with water)
A tour of the downtown - local bad guys and the good guys. Chuck says it took him 30 minutes to walk the whole thing. With pauses for each spot it might take 2 hours or a bit less. Chuck will get the permit for a parade on the sidewalk (not expecting hundreds). We will have knowledgeable people to speak at each spot on the trail. Please pass this on to your own lists - for this event, getting more than one copy is a good thing - get the word out.
