I am considering going to Pride Charlotte
it is in something called Gateway Village on the 26th of August. Anyone up to attending. Any advice on good restraunts to eat at. I live in Wilson which is east of Raleigh.

1. Gateway Village
Gateway Village is a collection of retail, hotels, restaurants, condos and apartments. Johnson and Wales Culinary Institute is also located there. There are many fine restaurants in the area and the quality of the food has increased immensely since J & W came to town.

I have never been to Charolette so I don't know squat about it. I figure combine a visit with hanging out with my people should be a good thing.

There is a Doubletree Hotel right in the heart of Gateway Village.

I may just do a day trip kind of thing. I figure it is about a 3 hour drive.

6. then probably about three and a half for me
7 hours in the car is doable if on the edge.
