... Beth Brewer , who led a pre-election campaign against Durham County District Attorney Mike Nifong , filed the affidavit accusing him of committing "willful misconduct in office" -- a complaint that mirrors accusations brought against him by the North Carolina State Bar.

1. Doesn't mean that Brewer's wrong...
I think if Nifong could defend the entirety of his actions, he should do so since she is not alone in her complaint/criticism. He probably doesn't like the fact that a political opponent is coming after him, but such is political life. DAwg eat DAwg in this case. ;)
