Nothing is going to happen unless we get things going well in advance. I'd say a debate watch party would be good. I'm guessing fargo would be the best place, but if people want to meet in Grand Forks, I'll volunteer to be host (or we can find a restraunt).

Anyway, discuss time and place ideas here and after a while we'll put up a poll about it and then we can start to finalize the details.

2. a typical bar/grill might be safer (and draw a larger crowd)
preferably some place with good beer.

I'm thinking maybe a debate watch party?

3. Someone should
get a phone book and look at the major resturants and call around to see which nights are open.

The debate nights, from the CPD: (If * agrees, that is)

Thursday, September 30
Friday, October 8
Wednesday, October 13
Vice Presidential:
Tuesday, October 5

Also, payment. Should everyone just pay for themselves?

4. Yeah, we should just go dutch.
Any of those dates are looking good to me, as long as we don't start until 6:30 pm or so. I get off work at 6:00.

Maybe Ruby Tuesday on 13th Avenue in West Fargo???

Or maybe the OB downtown???

5. Whatever you want is good
Just give me the directions. But there is one caviat. I'm not 21, so I couldn't go to a straight up bar.

6. Hey - If you're in Fargo
Let's meet at the Turf. We've got many TV's there, the beer's cheap, and if you're under 21, we can drink with you in the restaurant part of the bar.

Let's pick a date and go with it.

10. I vote for the 2nd debate on Friday the 8th rather than Wed 13
I'd like to be able to hang out, talk to people, organize after the debate... and then there's the drive back to GF. Friday would be much better.
