Mods, I meant to post this in the Ohio Forum; please move it there.

Yep, he'll be in a little town north of Dayton (Troy) in Miami County.

In order to get a glimpse of the boy king, you have to get tickets from (where else?) the Miami Co. GOP headquarters.

I'll bet you have to sign a pledge of allegiance to all things GOP as well.

Link here for a story from the "Dayton Daily News"

1. Loyalty Oaths!
I live in Champaign Co. and saw the story on Channel 2 from Dayton showing the long, long lines waiting to get tickets to the Boy King. The insinuation is that the lines are SO long because just everyone is dying to see him. But the real story is that it takes a while to check the GOP rosters and get people to sign the loyalty oaths!!

I went to Dayton at the end of July to see Kerry & Edwards the day after Edwards was announced as the VP. My husband got the tickets just by walking into a hair salon & picking them up. No DNA required!

The idiot is the President of United States - not the President of the Republican Party. He serves at the pleasure of the taxpayers and residents of the U.S. Anybody, whether Rep., Dem., Ind. or non-registered should be able to see the President speak if they so wish. Although, for myself, I wouldn't walk across the street to see HIM.

Anyway, I'd love to go protest. But I have plans out of town that day. Also, my boss lives in Troy. Who knows in this day & age, I'm liable to be fired.

2. Welcome to DU, voyager.
I worked the Dayton rally and am glad to hear you attended. We distributed tickets at various locations throughout Montgomery; you're correct, a DNA sample was not required.

How did you find DU? I need to warn you: it's addictive!

Glad to have you in the fold.

I'm sure we'll get another chance to protest, just stay tuned.

To Victory!

:hi:
