Domestic Law in Ohio?

Sorry to intrude on this forum. I'm just curious if anyone here might practice domestic law in Ohio (Franklin county would be even better). I have a couple of questions about something, and just need some general guidance on what my options/steps are. I live in IL now - so it's like a shot in the dark on who to call for consultation. If you do, and can send me a PM, I'd appreciate it.

1. I'm not an attorney, but as of 2004, there is no such thing as "domestic law" in Ohio

if you are talking about protecting your assets or your physical well being, if you're not officially married.

but not if you think you HAVE to run the numbers, only if you want to. I also recommend a pre-nuptial agreement. Then as long as you're married, your partnerships and contracts are protected by current law. If things go wrong, both people can theoretically walk away with what they started with. Not very romantic, but realistic. I'm the derelict of my relationship, so I speak as someone who knows how lucky I am to be married.
