My 14 year old daughter and I went to the 1:30 showing and it was at least 80% full. However, as we left I noticed that the line for the next showing at 4:05 looked very long and it was probably a sell out.
Quite a demographic spread at the 1:30 and many laughs and a long applause at the end.
You must remember that Toledo is the "Gateway to Senility", so I'm very happy with the turnout.
No matter how many times I see it (about 10 thus far) I still laugh at Bush's "Fool me once" oration.
I just came from the 4.25 show here in Lansing MI and it was nearly sold out. Such a beautiful crowd too! The fool me once line got a huge laugh from the audience!
I was very pleased with the turnout at this showing.
3. In Decatur, Illinois there were several points in which the audience
clapped.
The biggest applause came when the soldier who was wounded in Iraq said that he use to vote republican most of the time but was going to work hard for the democratic party this year. HUGE applause!
BTW, The Avon Theater holds over 700 people and it was nearly sold out!
