Different job #s in Humphrey ads? I've seen one that claims 38000 "new
jobs" in OKC and another with 54000. What's with these morons? And why does he omit any reference to 'republican' in them?...is he ashamed of it? I think they have the word 'conservative' about 20 times. What an asshole.

And one of his "big accomplishments" was getting the Billy Graham Crusade over there :puke:

3. Kirk the Jerk
Kirk the Jerk admitted his numbers were high and he is trying to adjust them, so he says.

4. All Humphrey's numbers are cooked...

First of all, they're not balanced. X number of jobs may have been created, but this number isn't reconciled with the number lost for a total loss/gain. A LOT of manufacturing jobs were lost under Kirk's reign as emperor. Some service jobs were created.

Second, while I haven't looked at these specifically, I recall when he was pushing the Bass Pro Shops deal, he was claiming so many thousands of jobs would be created because of it, largely through tourism and low-wage service support jobs. These numbers were all speculation, and as anyone acquainted with the influence BPS has had, the speculation was way off the mark. I wouldn't be surprised if he's merely using those numbers again.

Kirk's an idiot.
