Need help: Gordon Smith's Office Refuses to Issue Stmnt on Rove
Senator Gordon Smith (R- OR)
202-224-3753 phone
202-228-3997 fax
http://gsmith.senate.gov/webform.htm

PLEASE CALL HIS OFFICE AND DEMAND THAT HE CONDEMN THE ROVE REMARKS.

I called today and was told "it doesn't affect him so he will not be issuing a statement."

FUCK THAT.

I told her I will call that office every damn day until I get one.

And...if I don't get one next week I think we should have a little protest in front of his Portland office.

PLEASE CALL, FAX OR E-MAIL and demand Gordo do the right thing. Let's put the pressure on.

1. It affects many of his constituents
I thought that was supposed to be his job, you know, looking out for his constituents.

What other issues affecting Oregonians does Smith ignore because they don't affect him directly?

2. Was he finally dragged kicking and screaming
to sign on as a co-sponsor to the lynching apology resolution? You have a real winner there. He's probably marginally better than my two Senators though.

3. No, he didn't co-sponsor lynching apology either. His lame-o staffer
told me that Smith did vote for the apology in a "voice vote". Jackass.
