DPO Supreme Court House Parties
Three months ago, the Democratic Party of Oregon planned a statewide House Party night to organize at the grassroots and discuss the issue of a potential Supreme Court nominee. Most of the 48 parties scheduled around the state begin at 6pm.

As noted today on Oregon's premier progressive blog Blue Oregon, Karl Rove and George W. Bush have played right into the DPO's hands.

But seriously...

Tonight's the night! Oregonians -- from Astoria to Ashland, from Portland to Pendleton -- will be gathering in living rooms across the state to watch President Bush announce at 6:00 PM PDT his Supreme Court nominee and to make sure Senator Gordon Smith and others know what our state's residents think about the future of the Supreme Court...

But that's not all. At 7:00 PM, we will have a special Oregon-only conference call with Congressman Earl Blumenauer and with Senator Barbara Boxer of California.

Go to http://party2win.com/dpo/ and find an Supreme Court "Justice for All" house party near you.
