Salem event will conflate Sept 11th with the war on Iraq

KGW, chanel 8 last night reported that on the aniversery of Sept 11th, there will be flag displays in Oregon's capitol of Salem. There will be a flag with the name of everyone who died on Sept 11th, there will be a flag with the names of police and fire fighters who died on Sept 11th, and there will be a field of flags for all of the soldiers who have died in Iraq.

The news clip showed a group of citizens preparing the flags, but it did not identify the group. I have searched kgw's website and googled, but found nothing on it.

Any informatoin of this would be appreciated.
