Anybody in PA got a local Internet service provider with
a discussion board/forum?

I'm looking for local ISP discussion boards to post to in swing states.

Thanks

3. My newspaper forum :

As far as local ISPs, we have dejazzd.com, blazenet.com and netconex.com but none of them appear to have forums.

5. Most Discussion Board People Have Decided
Edited on Tue Aug-31-04 10:09 AM by JPZenger
I don't think there are very many undecided people visiting the political/news discussion boards. From what I have seen on 8 different newspaper boards, they are entirely full of hard core political people who are screaming at each other. I believe a better approach is letters to the editor in newspapers - including small town papers where it is easy to get published.

There are discussion boards run by the Reading Eagle at www.readingeagle.com (Reading Pa) and by the Pittsburgh paper.

In Florida, there are discussion boards run by the Miami (forums.realcities.com) and Orlando (www.Orlandosentinel.com) newspapers.

6. The Pittsburgh paper?
I hope you're referring to the Post-Gazette not the uber-nazi Scaife rag formerly of Greensburg Tribune-Review. Let's not give out of towners the wrong idea.

I don't try to change hard core right wingers minds. But a surprisingly large amount of people lurk on discussion boards and posting liberal viewpoints or news is a lot like having a yard sign up in a prominent location. Readers get the idea that their is popular support for a candidate or issue.

Letters to the editor are great, particularly if you are reasonably local to the circulation area. They don't change hard core wingers views either but give the rest of the readers the idea that their is popular support for a candidate or issue.

It's not an ISP, but it is the forum/discussion board section of the local paper's website: http://cgi.goerie.com/cgi-bin/yabb_goerie/YaBB.cgi
