For those not familiar with Erie it will be at Liberty Park just west of downtown Erie off the Bayfront Parkway. This a beautiful park with an amphitheater overlooking the bay and Lake Erie. I'm down here in Pittsburgh but my folks live within walking distance of the Park. I will try to get up there for this one.

I recall that when Bush came to Erie recently they were making a big deal about the fact that he was the first sitting President to visit Erie. I found that a little unbelievable at first that no President (especially none running for re-election) ever came to Erie. And then to have Bush be the first, well, frankly, I found it a little embarrassing for the city's history.

Let's make Edwards visit memorable so he can return soon as VP.

I was there. It was a great speech at a great venue!

We've been hit hard with campaigning over the past few months....Kerry in May, Teresa Heinz Kerry in September, Edwards in October ...oh yeah, and Bush was in in September....
