South Texas recount fight not over yet, court decides
Associated Press

SAN ANTONIO -- The political battle is not finished for U.S. Rep. Ciro Rodriguez.

The San Antonio congressman's re-election hopes stayed alive Wednesday when a state appeals court sided with him in a lawsuit alleging vote fraud in his district during the Democratic primary in March.

The 4th Court of Appeals overturned a lower-court judge, who had ruled that Rodriguez could not challenge eligibility of hundreds of District 28 voters in Webb and Zapata counties or do a full inspection of ballots for signs of tampering.

The case goes back to state court for a trial before Judge Joseph Hart.

1. CNN just reported a few minutes ago
that the court ruled in Ciro's favor.

It goes back to Laredo for a hearing.

SD 19 caucus. The chair of the caucus snubbed Cuellar and didn't allow him to speak. Most, if not all of Ciro Rodriguez' district takes in the 19th SD so Cuellar didn't get to spread his bullshit to representatives of this district.

Good move by the chair, IMHO! Its pretty bad for Cuellar when his own state party won't even recognize him to speak!

3. Great news! Ciro lives to fight another day
Lets hope this time the lower court gets the issue right. Fraud is not the democratic way. Hundreds of ballots were illegally cast and that should be reviewed thoroughly and those votes thrown out.

Thank you 4th Court of Appeals for a good ruling.
