Culberson weighs in on DeLay and Schedules Town Hall Meetings
Received 2 notes today from DeLay's lapdog:

Culberson Statement on Tom DeLay's Announcement

Today, U.S. Representative John Culberson issued the following statement regarding Tom DeLay's resignation:

"Tom DeLay is one of the strongest leaders the House of Representatives has ever seen. His tireless work ethic and strict adherence to the Republican principles of limited government, individual freedom, and lower taxes earned him the respect and admiration of his fellow Republicans, and the resentment of his opponents. The Democrats and the liberal media are targeting Tom DeLay for the same reason that Confederate General Stonewall Jackson always ordered his troops to shoot the brave ones first - because it will scare the others.

"I wish Tom and his family all the best in their return to private life, and I sincerely hope that they can avoid the cruel glare of the media spotlight. I am honored to have served with Tom DeLay, and I am certain that his proud legacy will never be diminished."

Congressman John Culberson will host town hall meetings on Wednesday, April 12 and Thursday, April 20. The April 12 town hall meeting will be held at Rice University's Shell Auditorium, and will focus primarily on local transportation issues, such as METRO's proposal to build a light rail line down Richmond Avenue. State Representative Martha Wong and City Council Member Anne Clutterbuck have also been invited as special guests. The Congressman is very interested in hearing the opinions of local residents and business owners, and would greatly appreciate your attendance at this meeting.

The April 20 town hall meeting will be held at Stratford High School, in west Houston. This meeting will focus primarily on the issue of border security and the reconstruction of the Katy Freeway. The Congressman will discuss his work to protect our borders and reduce traffic congestion, and listen to your thoughts and views on these and other important issues. State Representative Joe Nixon and City Council Member Pam Holm have been invited as special guests. Our government cannot function without active participation from its citizens, so the Congressman invites you to join him at this town hall meeting so he can continue delivering your strong and vocal message to Washington, DC.

1. Culbertson is Delay's sockpuppet, nothing more.
He is Clarence Thomas to Delay's Antonin Scalia.

2. True. And that's why I'm so looking forward to the
town hall meeting at my daughter's high school.
