Hightower Event in Houston
Did any DUers from Houston attend the Jim Hightower event at the Bill Mraz Dance Hall? How was it and what did Hightower speak about? How was the event in general?

1. It was good.
Big hall, pretty much full. He roused the troops with his usual great pointed funny stuff. He has a new book out, and after the speech, the line to get autographs was tremendous.

3. Maybe 3 or 400 there
Bought his book, listened to Smythe and Taylor, had Jim sign it after his talk.

He seemed surprised that so many people were there.

Can't find any pics at kpft.org, but maybe later (lots were taken; they also videorecorded his talk).
