5. I'm Juanita
And the story only gets better ----

The following week, I did a follow-up story http://www.brazosriver.com/priceless.htm and the poop began to hit the fan.

My husband, who is a writ twit (also known as “attorney at law” in polite company) got so riled-up after my research that he filed a complaint with the Texas Attorney General. He also sent a copy of it to Ronnie Earl, the Travis County DA who is currently investigating DeLay.

The local ultra-conservative rag in our area did a front-page story about the gall it took to complain about anything that Mr Wonderful DeLay does. http://www.herald-coaster.com/articles/2004/09/16/news/news04.txt (It wouldn’t hurt if you sent them a letter to the editor.)

We suspect that the two other area newspapers will also carry stories. I’ll let you know if we need to write to them, too.

The All Spin Zone found some more research about it - http://allspinzone.blogspot.com/2004/09/tom-delay-should-have-reporters.html

Thanks for any support you can give us. I’ve spent twenty years fighting DeLay - The Texas Observer even did a little piece about it this month - http://www.texasobserver.org/showArticle.asp?ArticleID=1745

7. Juanita Jean, you got a new fan, honey
I got your site bookmarked!

I hadn't spent much time near Houston before (been in Texas for 34 years!) but this summer I've actually made TWO trips down (state convention and vacation to Galveston/Houston). It was a strange year!

I love the Observer piece! Glad you got your son back! :-)
Keep us up on the skinny!
