DFW: Ed Bark is pissing me off

I'm really starting to wonder if this guy has a conservative bias.
Gotten all snippy about Dan Rather for two columns in a row. Sept. 18: "Rather has long history with Bushes, and it hasn't been fun." Today: "Network of Cronkite and Murrow sullied." Neither one of these columns are up on the web yet. He's also recently reviewed a documentary, "Rated R: Republicans in Hollywood, is an intriguing look at a town allegedly without pity for right-of-center thinking." He's also written a column on Fox that is kind of middle-of-the-road but doesn't mention anything about Outfoxed.

Anyone else know more about his history? I'm thinking about writing him but the web archives only go back a month or so and I haven't been reading the DMN that long...

1. I'm in DFW, too. Don't you know that's a Repub paper? It's owned by

Belo Corporation, a huge GOP contributor. It has formally endorsed Bush (all the Bushes, all the times they ran), as well as other Repubs for nat'l elections. I think it may have endorsed a local Dem. a time or two, but that's rare.

It's a totally Repub shill newspaper. Only the editorial pages contain non-Repub stuff (not the articles written by staff....the letters from citizens, which are sometimes by non-Repubs).
