3. TEXAS STATE FAIR!
It started earlier today and runs until October 17.

We've got Big Tex, Fletcher's Corny Dogs, an autumn garden exhibition, raptor/parrot shows, our famous Midway complete with gigantic Ferris wheel, a "Memories of World War II" exhibit, a petting zoo, and lots of great food. There's more, but check out the site for yourself:

The 2nd Annual World Corny Dog Eating Championship will be held on Saturday on the fairgrounds.

4. You do books?
Check out the Half Price Books mothership on NW Hwy. Your cousin should know where it is. PM me if you want directions.

Used books and a publisher end-run clearance center, DVDs, tons of CDs, vinyl, VHS, you never know what you will find there.
