and the track at Richmond and as many drivers as you can.
We didn't appreciate what Nascar did at the Richmond track last week. We are highly divided and at least 50% of this state will go vote Democrat this year. Whom Brian France, ceo and family owner of Nascar, donates too during the election (by the way it was shrub and cheney), is their business. But I thought is was highly disrespectful for the fans that paid hundreds of dollars for those seats and those fans of us at home that had to have Rumsfield pushed down our throats with his attendance. This year is the most political I have ever seen NASCAR.
It doesn't seem to care if the fans approve or not. A lot of the nascar viewers and the people in those stadiums are not proshrub and not pro-republician agenda. This is a sporting event and Nascar is using it as a political event.
For those of you not familiar with Nascar, these stadiums hold thousands of fans and 100's of thousands at home viewing them. When Nascar is allowed to make it a political event, without any dollars lost...we loose.
Again, being that at least half this state are Democratic and this a heated election year and Donald Rumsfield still under investigation...I thought it was EXTREMELY disrespectful to the fans and general public in this state to take a political stand over what the voters and/or the fans wanted. The 20th or 21th of this month, Nascar is going to feature bush at one of the up coming racing events.
Remind Nascar the FANS that buy the tickets and sports/ collectables are not just Repugs. There Democrats and Independants too.
