* refuses to meet with Democrat...
Now you know * will refuse to meet with anyone who isn't a Pug....
SPEEA is union representing Boeing's engineers and technical workers in some locations. This is an editorial from SPEEA's executive director

http://www.speea.org/publications/files/newsletters/News_8_27_04.pdf
(see page 2)

<<When Pres. George Bush visited Boeing in the Puget Sound Aug. 13, SPEEA was asked to send two representatives. It was in the spirit mentioned above that we submitted the names of SPEEA’s Legislative
Director Kristin Farr and SPEEA Legislative and Public Affairs Committee Chair Joel Funfar. (Jennifer MacKay, SPEEA president, and I were both in Wichita at the time).

Remember this was not a political stop; it was an event by Bush as president of the United States, not candidate for the office. I was shocked to learn that Joel Funfar was barred from attending the meeting because he was “too close to the Kerry campaign.”..>>

3. Kerry should use this in his campaign!!!
As the writer so aptly puts it, "Standing & talking to someone doesn't mean endorsement; it means interaction. We must interact with the people that affect our members' lives & careers."

This is no way for a president to act. The visit had nothing to do with campaigning; he was visiting as president of the U.S. All Americans should find his behavior toward this employee offensive!
