Citizens to Elect Mark B. Polin
Please pass this on to as many people as you can.

Greetings,

We have reached a critical juncture in Mark's campaign where we need to raise $1,500 in the next two weeks. Broken down, that's only:

15 individuals contribute $100;
30 individuals contribute $50; or
60 individuals contribute $25.

It's imperative that we raise this money over the next few weeks to help us get Mark's message out through a one-time mailing to approximately 6,000 voters who may not even know what the Charter Review is. In addition, we need to cover costs for door-belling lists, various printing costs, and more.

Won't you please help us? Help us transform our community and the way that it is governed.

There is now a fundraising tracker on the website. See how we're doing. Right now we're about half way towards our goal of raising $3,500 for Mark's campaign. Please visit:

Also, there is now a People for Polin link at:
http://www.voteforpolin.org/guestbook/gbook.php

Please take a minute to read why other community members are supporting Mark B. Polin. Then tell us why you support Mark!

You can now find out what district you're in by visiting the website and clicking on the "Which district are you in?" link on the home page.

Mark has recently received major endorsements from the Washington Conservation Voters and the Whatcom Democrats. The link for Mark's endorsements is now up.

**Please tell all of your friends, family, co-workers, etc.**

Blue Horse Gallery
301 W. Holly St. Bellingham, WA

Join us for an evening of incredible art, music, and appetizers in supporting Mark for his election to the Whatcom County Charter Review Commission. Come and meet with Mark to hear his views and express yours in ensuring excellence in our government.

Musical guests scheduled to appear at this time include our very own Linda Allen, the nationally renowned singer who sings with a passion for giving voice to those who have no voice, and for helping others to find their own physical and creative voices.

In addition, we've just received word that local vocalist Sharon Abreu will also be performing. Inspired by environmental advocates and legendary folksinger Pete Seeger at the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater Pumpkin Festival in Manhattan, Sharon began combining music and environmental education. Now, Sharon's efforts join with Seeger's to inspire and empower people through music and song -- communicating directly with the heart -- as a way to unite people, bring about love and caring for the natural environment, and foster creative thinking toward the goal of sustainability. "A repertoire with heart and conscience and a voice to die for", states Charlie King.

Please try to attend.

Your support is needed!
