BREAKING NEWS! Monorail train catches fire at Seattle Center
I just stopped by the Seattle Center for Folklife. One of the monorail trains has caught fire. Looks like nobody was hurt but still a lot of damage to the train.

1. OMG! I have to call my parents
They live just up on Highland - I bet they can see it. Glad nobody was hurt. Was it at the Center when it happened?

3. Yeah, my parents could see it really well
There was tons of smoke and at first they didn't know what was going on, and they couldn't believe it when they saw it was the Monorail!! Scary!

4. I was only able to see a little bit of what happened but...
it looks like the train is damaged pretty bad. It is just a good thing nobody was hurt or killed. Traffic is pretty snaled though.

5. I bet if the weather had been better
This could have been catastrophic, what with this being the last day of Folklife and all. It's been so cold out, though, that attendance was down this year.

6. More bad news for the monorail...
I was there today at Folk life and I didn't see or hear anything about this. There were a ton of people out trying to get that new measure against the monorail on the ballet. The place was packed down there today even with the rain. I just can't believe that we saw and heard nothing.
