Cascadian is back!
Edited on Wed Aug-25-04 04:49 AM by Cascadian
Just thought I would touch base with everybody and say I am alive. I had no internet connection for a while since I have had to move from Lower Queen Anne to the U District a few weeks ago. I had to move because I could no longer afford to live in my apartment  and had to move into a room in a house. The last year really lowered the boom on me. I was laid off from my job in July of last year, I tried to get my own business off the ground and failed, and made over 150 attempts to find a job (Thank you George W. Bush!), and subsequently I fell into debt. I do have a job now and slowly trying to get back on my feet. I still hope to re-start my business venture again and also go back to school.

Life truly does go on.

:hi:

1. Welcome back
Wish I had something wiser to say than hang in there, but I don't. Just a few more months of Bush...thank the benefactor of your choice. :)

2. Welcome back!
This year has been funky for a lot of us. (Fuck You very much, George Bush). Glad you were able to find some housing while you recover. From what I hear from friends, it's no better anywhere else... we just have to ride it out, and wait for Kerry. Consumer confidence will surge when he takes office, and the economy will improve, simply by virtue of happy consumers and new optimism. I have to believe that!!!

Glad you're back with us! Are you heading down to see Kerry in Tacoma on Saturday??

3. Unfortunately no.
I have a picnic to go to with a friend but I think this will not be the last time we will see Kerry in this area. Please let us know how it all went. I am certain Kerry is going to get a thunderous and huge reception.

John
