Sudden flooding surprised residents
http://www.dailymail.com/news/News/2004060125/

The small stream that runs beside Earl Hall Jr.'s home usually dries up this time of the year, he said.

But Monday, the stream that typically is a foot wide was 5 feet of raging brown water cutting away at the banks of his lawn and leaving behind debris of mud and rock.

"This is the worst it's ever been," said Hall and just about anyone living along the seven-mile stretch of W.Va. 65 between Belo and Delbarton in Mingo County.
