Edwards rally in Waukesha
Continuing the string of Edwards reports, the rally this afternoon at the Waukesha Expo Center was fine and spirited. The candidate was introduced by a Republican businessman who said he voted for Bush last time and that was a real "disappointment." He's voting Kerry/Edwards this time. Edwards said "that's the kind of Republican we like, and we hope he has a lot of friends." The crowd especially loved the parts of the speech concerning health insurance, jobs, and foreign policy blunders. I would estimate well above a thousand people, which is very good for a conservative area. No freepers in evidence that I could see. Many people went home with Feingold and Bryan Kennedy yard signs.

1. Thanks for the update, dragonlady!
We were out of town this weekend, so we couldn't go. I imagine Edwards and Kerry will be back to the area several more times before November.
