I don't even remember how I registered and I know it's different for every state (right?). I thought I just had to take a peice of mail with me to the voting place, but I want to be sure. Thanks!
3. I believe the requirement for registration at the polls is 2 items
noting name and place of residence. No photo ID required yet but phone bill, lease, car registration, anything like that which shows the current address should do.
4. You need ONE official document with your name and address on it, or...
...a witness. For the document, that can range from DL or ID to a utility bill or bank statement with your name and address on it. If you can provide none of the above, then you may bring along a witness to identify you. This witness must vote in the same municipality and have one of the above-mentioned official documents with his or her name and address on it.
5. Is identification w/birthdate required for young looking voters?
I am already registered to vote. I am just wondering if this would come up. I registered in Wisconsin after I graduated from college and the guy registering me seemed interested in verifying that I was of legal voring age. Luckily, I did have a state id card.
