Rep. Suder's ex-girlfriend charged with forgery

The former live-in girlfriend of an Abbotsford lawmaker was charged Thursday with 15 felony counts of forgery, three days after she filed a restraining order against him.

A private investigator gave her a letter Sept. 25 asking her to leave Suder's home, where she had been living since January 2007.

She also noted in the petition for the order that Suder has access to a handgun and asked a judge to not allow him to own a gun. A hearing is set for May 28.

In the order, Brabazon said Suder left a cut on her stomach 1.5 inches long on Sept. 4, while he was using a knife to cut sausage. She needed stitches to heal the wound, and she claims Suder went with her to the hospital to make sure police were not called, the order said


What a great family values and tough on crime guy. Go Tim!!! Suder should be kicked to the curb and Tim Swiggum is a great person to replace him.

3. Lisa is standing up to help the public, she's not just trying to protect herself.

She needs the public's support. Lisa had been in a relationship with Mr. Suder since January of 2006, not since September of 2006 as Scott stated. Lisa had some difficulties in her life, and Scott did stand by her. In March of 2007 it came to light that Scott is not the family values man that he personifies. Lisa stood up and tried to help him sort through the mess he has made of his life. She became a prisoner in her own home for six months, uncovering and trying to erase his bizarre past for him. The end result for her love and support to him, is him diverting the public's attention elsewhere. Keep an open mind when reading anything about her. She needs support, not judgement.
