Obama campaign offices in Wisconsin?
I can't find any information on where any of his campaign offices are. I live in Appleton, I doubt there is one here yet. Is there one in Green Bay yet? Is their a web site that lists them? I checked his site and i couldn't find anything. Thanks everyone.

1. They're still in organizing stages
This is what they have right now...

They are in transition mode and just as Kerry did in 2004, they'll be adding official staffers and more offices throughout the state.

2. Offices in Milwaukee
His campaign did have an office set up in Milwaukee at the Milwaukee Labor Union Building (633 S. Hawley Rd.) during the primary. I believe it is still there at this point.

3. New office in Milwaukee
This info comes from the Waukesha Dems, who are always on top of things:

Obama Office Reopened

If you would like to help the campaign, you can contact Fiona Reeves from the campaign at either freeves@barackobama.com or at 919-314-7576. The campaign office is at 7984 W. Appleton Ave., Milwaukee, WI.

10. This office is up and running
We stopped in today and saw about a dozen busy young people working on the campaign. It's in a large yellow building on the corner with parking readily available. They are still getting things set up, but there is plenty of action already.

15. Just got this email about needs at the new office...
The Democratic Party of Milwaukee County
Our Wish List for Our New Headquarters

The Democratic Party of Milwaukee County has moved into a brand new headquarters just in time for the elections, and we've come up with a wish list of office items that we badly need. Please print out the list below and pick out something you can donate, so we can keep Milwaukee BLUE in 2008:

- vacuum cleaner
- large coffee maker (at least 12 cups)
- extension cords
- cleaning supplies
- large garbage can
- large plastic waste baskets
- large garbage bags
- kitchen size garbage bags
- door mat (welcome)
- full size refrigerator
- colored copier paper
- poster board (especially red and white) and markers
- large roll of poster paper
- wet wipes
- post-it notes
- folding chairs
- one or two desks
- pantry-type cabinet for kitchen supplies
- WORKING computers
- dehumidifier
- water cooler
- flashlight
- CASH :-)

We will have a "grand opening" / office warming party in July - date to be announced soon. Meanwhile, print off this list, and the next time you drive past a rummage sale, walk through your basement, or stop at the store, think about picking up something for your new Dem HQ.

For more information, call 414-223-3050, or email info@milwaukeedems.org. Thanks for your help, people!

16. I called
the campaign today asking where to volunteer and they said they weren't planning on using the Milwaukee County party office. Is that true? I just moved to Milwaukee a month ago but from what I've gathered the other location isn't in the best neighborhood.

17. Come on out to work in Waukesha
We're going to need help -- we've got far fewer Dems to draw from for volunteers. Don't believe the rumors about Waukesha being impossible to navigate. Ok, do believe it because it's true but the campaign office is really easy to find, I promise!

18. Can you post the phone number for the Milwaukee Obama office?
That would be a big help. Thanks, and welcome to Milwaukee!

By the way, it wasn't clear which office you were referring to above, but the Appleton office looks to be in a fine neigborhood, and the 2nd Street one is downtown.

12. 318 South Street in Waukesha
It's the same location the 2006 Campaign Office, for those who volunteered then. For more information, you can e-mail ricks@wisdems.org
