Robert E. Mann, former president and part owner of Mann Bros., was charged in a Federal Court in Milwaukee last Wednesday with fraud as part of an embezzlement scheme that defrauded more than $4 million from May of 2000 to July of 2004.
Mann was scheduled to appear in court again Wednesday for an arraignment and plea hearing.
He is one of four people to be charged in connection with the case.
Robert G. Brownell, Bielinski Homes’ former chief financial officer; Norman C. Hanson, principal in Welch, Hanson & Associates; and Michael A. Gral, partner in the law firm Michael Best & Friedrich; all face fraud charges also.
