What's up with F911 in Wisconsin?

Yesterday there were 7 or 8 theaters in the state that were scheduled to show the film. Now there is only one in Milwaukee. Does anyone know what happened?

Are the churches out trying to stop this film? I can recall as a teen=ager(long time ago) the local churches, where I lived ,tried to stop a movie as they said the actor was bad, and it was only one type church but they were right as the doors as you went in.

2. Shuffling copies ....

Email I got from Kerasotes theatres seemed to indicate that their were only 1000 copies available on initial release. It could be that they got better offers from other theatres.

Or, they could have gotten freeped. My suggestion is that you pick out you check if you local movie chains are showing Fahrenheit 9/11 in other cities. If they are, start an email campaign to get F9/11 in that theatre.

After a couple email with Kerasotes, I convinced them that no one else in my are had the film. They decided to show it at their local outlet!!!

3. Oriental and Rosebud still have them on their websites

don't fret too much, but any chain that drops it is going to lose $$$. I think that website may be going thru major additions, not subtractions.

5. Yup. And it's important to call Marcus...

They were confirmed earlier in the week - now they've dropped out of the picture. Call them, ask if they'll be showing it, and if they say no, politely ask them to do so. Tell them you love the taste of their popcorn too. If they say yes, thank them profusely and tell them you'll go see The Day After Tomorrow and The Hunting of the President on one of their screens too.

showed an advert for F911 that included the Oriental, AMC Mayfair, and three Marcus theaters. In big bold letters OPENING FRIDAY. As much as I detest the Marcus chain, I do hope they carry this for folks in the burbs.

Marcus has been noncommital since their cinemas disappeared from the f911tix.com site early last week.

Thanks to those Milwaukeeans who posted that Marcus shows up in the Sunday J-S ads, but I'm not willing to wait any longer to see if/when they come on board in Madison. I've bought my tickets, and I'll be seeing you at Mayfair Mall Friday night.

What is up with that Marcus list?? There are other Marcus Theatres in the state--why only these? I sure hope they plan on expanding this list to all of their theatres. Marcus has two theatres here in Wausau and they dang well better have it at one of them.

and it will NOT be shown here because they only have a limited number of copies blah blah blah. So it sounds like I'll be coming to a theatre near you--all.

I'd advise you to keep writing and asking for it in Wausau, and get your friends to write also. They'll respond if there is demand for it.

You could also wait until it's out on DVD and have F911 parties, kind of like "Uncovered."
