I've got my tickets to see F911 Friday night!!
In Appleton at Hollywood Cinemas. I can't wait. The girl at the ticket counter was guessing that it would be sold out based on the number of tickets that had already been sold. This in the conservative Fox Valley!

1. We are going to Decatur, Illinois tomorrow to see it with some friends
and family.

Just to be safe, and so we don't have to stand in a long line (my great aunt and uncle are going and they are in their late 60's) my husband just left to go get our tickets tonight!

Movie time is 7pm central. 27 hours and counting!

2. Son in law and I are taking our wives
tomorrow night, whether they like it or not!
Betcha half of Madison will be there (at Westgate), maybe even some pro-death, "pro-life", pro-torture pro-testers.

3. Do you really get much for conservative protesters in Madison?
I lived in the area for 8 years and did meet some conservatives, but they seemed so outnumbered. I can't imagine there are enough of them to care about f9/11 to show up. You might consider printing a flyer to hand to them just in case. http://www.costofwar.com has some pretty effective info right up that f9/11 alley.

Welcome to DU, Madcity! :toast:

4. Neo-derthal-cons dwell among us
even here, but mostly skulk quietly. We'll see if any show up at the film.

5. They show up at the Farmer's Market
every Saturday and act like snots around the Dane Dems and Kerry tables... I think that most of them are probably the College Repugs - or whatever they call themselves these days. Young and mouthy.

Hey, MadCity, we're planning to do some visibility before the 7:00 showing at Westgate. Feel free to join us. We're currently debating whether to include Kerry posters as we had first planned, seeing as how we don't want to make any links to Kerry that might be construed as negative. So we may just do pro-free-speech type signs.

7. Hmm...
Well, opening night has now come and gone. I live in Kenosha, but had to go to West Gate Cinemas (Marcus) on Washington Rd in Racine to see it, because the movie was surprisingly absent in Kenosha. We have a huge theater complex called Tinstletown here, owned by Cinemark Theaters. I wonder why they decided not to carry F9/11...hmm....

Could it be partly a coincidence that their headquarters is in Austin, Texas?

9. Oh Tenuta's....
Tenuta's is such a great store...just love the damn smell. Haven't been there lately, unfortunately, but I just love some of the Italian desserts there.....and the cigars in stock aren't all that bad either.
