3. Saskatchewan is a province, Saskatoon is the main town, I thought...
Alberta is a province with Edmonton as its capital... or so I believe.

6. Saskatchewan is indeed a province..
It's Canada's version of Kansas and Nebraska--Canada's "breadbasket". Its capital is Regina--named for Queen Victoria.

B-)

8. I nearly went to Saskatchewan once..
to play football, but the arrangements fell through - I was supposed to go to Saskatoon, but I didn't realize Regina was in the same province. My brother lived in Edmonton for about 5 or 6 years and absolutely loved it.

5. no
the question was whether ALBERTA is a province. Malloy mistakenly thought it was a city in Saskatchewan.

7. Uh-oh...Mike needs a bit of a geography lesson...
Alberta is Canada's version of Colorado; Edmonton (home of the Oilers of the NHL) is its capital, and Calgary (home of the 1988 Winter Olympics and the NHL's Flames) is its largest city.

B-)

14. Hello enigmatic!
Another Edmontonian here!

I've never visited Texas, so I'll take your word for it regarding the comparison of the cities.

16. yup ;)

Edmonton/Austin has the culture, Calgary/Dallas has the money and the vulgarity, as I understand it.

Have to admit I've spent more time in Dallas than in Calgary, and about the same in Austin and Edmonton. But the drive from Edmonton to Calgary on a summer night beat the drive from Dallas to Austin all to hell.

And it has a bunch of towns with funny names...like Buffalo Pound (that's the place you go if your bison goes missing!!)
