2. No offence, but this was really the Canada Cup
Not the world cup. This whole tourney was hugely rigged in Canada's favour. Still a very good result though, but let's not get carried away.

3. I wouldn't say it was rigged
I thought it a bit unfair that we had all home games....but they were in the same pool as the US and Russia.

4. LOL!
A Whoo Hoo is getting carried away? We won and we won big, I think a Whoo Hoo is the least we, as Canadians, can do. The last time I checked, on Tuesday, the header was World Cup not Canada Cup.

5. Call it what you want
but it's still the same old Canada Cup. Canada played all games in front of home crowds.

There is no way you could compare this to, let's say, the World Cup of Soccer.

Sorry to say this, but in general, Canada is a huge underachiever in the sports world. We need to look to Australia as an example.

6. Are you aware that at least one team plays all their games at
home in the World Cup of Soccer?

7. Yes, of course...
But the world cup of soccer (unlike the "Canada Cup") is played in a different country every 4 years.

Hey, I'm just being the devil's advocate here. It was a great result, but let's keep it in perspective and no let it go to our heads.
