Sunderland is Promoted!

Sunderland ended a two year exile from the Premiership this afternoon when they beat Leicester City and third placed Ipswich could only draw with Leeds United at Elland Road.

It was a fantastic afternoon to be at the Stadium of Light as fans and players celebrated wildly at the final whistle.
And the game itself, end to end and played with thrilling intensity was the perfect advert for a team announcing their return to the top flight.
