Will this election prompt Labour to kick Blair out?
Any chance that previously Blair-supporting MPs, who were hoping a Kerry victory would lead to a more sensible US foreign policy, will abandon Blair now that Kerry has apparently lost?

Or are they so indoctrinated that they will stick with Blair until Labour loses a general election?

2. I'd bet on option 2

Basically, most of the MPs are career politicians first and human beings
second so don't expect more than a handful of them to risk losing their
cushy little number for the sake of sense, humanity, fairness or any of
those quaint outdated little ideas.

The exceptions also tend to be a bit long in the tooth so, whilst having
less to lose from honesty, are more easily marginalised and/or dismissed
by the Blairite majority.

Sorry 'bout that - would have been nice to give you a bit of good news
to hold for a change but it isn't going to be on this subject.

3. I think our best hope
is that at the next election Labour's majority is cut to a level where the awkward squad have the power to defeat his legislation. This is what happened to Major - who basically was unable to govern.
Bliar is a classic bully, if the various forces opposed to him have the ability to beat him down, he will run away.

4. Will it fuck
I wish. As you so adequately put it, they are so indoctrinated that they will stick with Blair until Labour loses a general election. Bunch of pathetic wastes of space.

The election result will make Blair even more certain he was right to kowtow to Bush in the first place. :eyes:

And Labour MP's being Labour MP's they will more than likely tag along as per usual.
