1. They should have been investigating them on Nov 3rd
It is the same old lets wait and see how the public reacts before we make a statment.
This is part of what is wrong with the Dems.
Too slow to react.

3. There was an "ordered" news black out, but this news has become
Way too big to be ignored now.

The NY Times Had to Report it, as CNN has Had to report it also.

5. I didn't even read it
figured it's just more of that blah, blah, blah crap from McAuliffe about an investigation to conclude next spring.

WTF is taking them so long? I am REALLY beginning to smell something very, very bad here. This party just seems to be in league with the devil himself. Republican-lite. Dean had it right.

6. Oh, so now it's official
that something should be "looked into"?

Hardly inspirational. At that rate the DNC will be sifting through the ashes to find the match they lent to the goon that burnt down the house that Jack built.

It constantly sounds like like a pathetic sop to activists who don't share the post election DNC de-activation mode. The fact that many are not even bothering to turn on and purge the DNC leadership out of pure scorn has them scurrying to catch up to where the real party is.

Oh, and where are the papers and media lagging behind the snail-Grail searching Dem leadership? On the sidelines waiting for "hot" stories to drop out of someone's shorts.

8. From the article
A few hours before the DNC news conference, three activist groups -- People for the American Way, the NAACP and the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law -- released a report detailing evidence of "voter disenfranchisement" nationwide.

Although DNC officials and members of the activist groups said their announcements were not coordinated, they made similar remarks about problems voters encountered.

The groups' report, "Shattering the Myth: An Initial Snapshot of Voter Disenfranchisement in the 2004 Elections," said thousands of election volunteers witnessed voter suppression by a poll judge who peeked into voting booths, electronic voting machines that assigned votes to Bush after voters pressed Kerry's name and three-hour waits in line.

"We have tens of thousands of individuals on record simultaneously," said Ralph G. Neas, president of People for the American Way. "We've never had this before. It's an extraordinary document."

Neas, who was joined by NAACP Chairman Julian Bond and civil rights lawyer Barbara Arnwine, said lawsuits are being prepared to challenge conservatives' electioneering tactics in some states.

snip....................

Those challenging the Ohio vote include more than Democratic officials. Lawyers representing voters said they are prepared to take their claims of long lines and faulty voting machines, mostly in African American communities, to the Ohio Supreme Court. Third-party candidates said they plan to file requests for a recount in each of Ohio's 88 counties.
**********************************************************************
Then of course is the same old crap from the DNC..saying that they want to make sure every vote was counted (big talking point), and the REPUGS talking about the voter reg cards that "dems" supposedly submitted with phony names.

7. Damn right
They should stand up for our country and expose this corruption. I think they are just the flip side of the same coin. It's all about the money and the power. They don't give a crap about democracy.
