New KO post on today's show with Rep. Conyers
Sorry if this is a duplicate but for those who missed, it there's also a link to the video. It was a good show! Slowly, we do seem to be gaining some traction. I can feel it. I especially liked the title of Keith's blog tonight:

Conyers "prepared" to contest Ohio Electoral Vote

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6210240

NEW YORK - The ranking Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee told us tonight on Countdown that he and others in Congress are considering formally challenging the slate of electors who cast Ohio’s votes, when those votes are opened and counted before a joint session of Congress on January 6th.

“We’re prepared to do that,” Conyers said. “And we understand the law as well as you.” After the on-air interview ended, the Michigan representative added that he and his colleagues had not yet decided whether or not to take the extraordinary constitutional step, and he had not sought the support of a Senator who would have to co-sign the challenge.

2. I agree. My other wish is that more people would hear about this
Because once enough know, there is no backing down.

4. Between Freepers yelling at us to "shut up"
and "get over it" and Conyers on the war path and KO reporting it all - maybe we just might get the word out about this mess, after all.

6. My favorite line by Conyers...
“The fact that Republicans didn’t join us isn’t our problem, it’s their fault.”

You just have to love honesty like that. I know I wrote to my Senators and Rep requesting they attend. Not my problem they did not go but it's their fault. I'm going to write them with that line right now. :)

8. LOVED THAT LINE TOO!
Of course it's "their fault". They are deliberately obstructing justice.
Can't wait to see which GOP election offical has the courage and integrity to see the light and jump on boad. Call me naive, but I really do believe that someone eventually will come out for the rights of the people to have their votes counted. Because at some point (the sooner the better of course), they will realize that if they don't they will loose credibility in the minds of American citizens (which will translate to losing votes). Plus, I really do believe that Bush does not have 100 support of his party these days. Someone will cave to justice.

10. In the long term, hopefully, it'll be good for us.
If the Republicans in congress stay close to this president and protect him from the truth, if they act as accomplices to the cover up, then they are signing their own tickets out of Washington. The tighter the party binds itself to this man and the corrupt people around him, the less likely it will survive his downfall to haunt us again.
