question for stock traders
is there a way to find out which mutual funds are invested in a certain company? Sort of like the opposite of finding which companies are in a certain mutual fund? Do any of the online stock companies have a search tool that could provide this information? seems like it should be there and it would save some time for people trying to research the divest campaign.

1. Morningstar
I subscribe to Morningstar's premium service, and it gives me a good idea as to what stocks are in my mutual fund portfolio. I don't know how much information you can get from their free services.

2. I Asked This Question on Clearstation:
"Mutual Funds Invested in Stock X

Does anyone know of a resource identifying which mutual funds are invested in a given stock? Could be a useful tool.
Would appreciate any input. "

Will let you know if I get a response. There are some very knowledgeable traders there.

Title: re: Mutual Funds

Check out the "major holders" section in yahoo:

Major holders for CREE
---------------------------------------

It's not comprehensive, but it has the heavy hitters.
