122. Good editing is indeed the key.
Abrams isn't so bad, but how come Keef is soooo much better than the rest of MSNBC?

Is it because they can't even tell?

And why does Scarborough smile like he's endorsing a hemmorhoid treatment? Is it because he's a giant a**hole?

We'll keep working on these deep questions.

Finally,
A 7-year-old who apparently wanted to play with friends couldn't wait. He drove off in his father's truck, eventually running it into a ditch before police officers managed to coax him out of the vehicle. The boy was driving the big, dual-wheel truck erratically along Highway 27 in Alabama when other drivers called police Thursday morning, saying they couldn't see anyone behind the wheel. The boy rolled up the windows and locked the doors as police approached. He pressed the gas pedal and the truck sent mud and dirt flying but didn't move. http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/T/TINY_DRIVER?SITE=NWCN&TEMPLATE=STRANGEHEADS.html&SECTION=HOME

He was an absolute HOOT in the Anita Hill hearings (as much as one could HAVE a "hoot" in those hearings - but, at 19, that issue began my interest in politics).

I guess Terri will die soon - that would complete the (forgive the reference) trinity.

I can't stand pornography (well, at least Larry Flynt's type of hurtful pornography), but, as a student of the First Amendment, I will fight for his right to produce it.
It's my job to keep my kids away from it, not the government's.

139. Hi guys, a drive-by posting of a nature photo
I got acupunctured this AM and I'm here to tell you that in combination with my wonderful Indian cooking class this evening, it produced what feels like terminal bliss-out. Just got home from the class and I am so mellow and sleepy I can't stay awake. So I'll just say hello to you wonderful people and post a nature photo for your refreshment. It's not mine, but it is from one of my favorite places - the Texas Hill Country around Austin. It's from this page: http://www.notesfromtheroad.com/greatplains/greatplainstexashillcountry.htm If you use your imagination, you can hear the sound of the birdsong and the clear, cold spring water-fed stream rushing over the limestone slabs.

Nice to see the famous Beatnik Keef photo make a reappearance!
:loveya: :loveya: :loveya:

My plan is to sleep myself into oblivion tonight and then be all peppy tomorrow. So I hope to join you guys on tomorrow night's thread.

Reading yesterday's thread, I couldn't BELIEVE Jon Stewart's comment about ladies liking stripes - a callout to KO and the KOEB if there ever was one! Seito's smilie-on-demand prowess remains intimindatingly awesome - that steak one was off the charts and produced instantly!

And what's this about a DU Meetup in April?
